Welcome to the Berkeley Hunt. The Berkeley are the oldest pack of foxhounds in the country and can be traced back to the 12th century. The Fifth Earl of Berkeley hunted hounds from Berkeley Castle to Berkeley Square in London. Today our country runs from Gloucester to Bristol, and from the edge of the Cotswold Hills to the banks of the River Severn. We hunt from September to March, twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The Berkeley hunt across some extraordinarily diverse country offering exceptional cross country riding, which tests both horse and rider and makes a days hunting with us an excellent day in the saddle.
